Not registered to vote?  Deadline for May's Election is April 3, 2017.  Form is available here: Voter Registration Information  
Absentee ballot applications for our permanent AV list were mailed in March. 
 
Last day to submit an AV application to receive the ballot by mail: Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm  (Office open from 8 am to 2 pm)
Last day to vote an AV ballot in the Office: Monday, May 1, 2017 at 4:00 pm

Receiving an absentee ballot in the office: When requesting a ballot, you must show Photo Identification in order to be given a ballot.  If you do not have ID with you, you may choose to return at another time with ID, have the ballot mailed to you, or vote a "challenged" ballot.

Precinct Inspectors (election workers)
You may apply for a position as a precinct inspector by completing an application form available at the Township Center or printed off this website.

In order to qualify as a precinct inspector, you must be:
  • registered in the County in which you wish to serve
  • 16 years of age or older
  • never convicted of a felony or election crime
  • not a member of the immediate family of a candidate to any office at the election
Absentee Voter Ballot Information
Qualification for Absentee Voter Ballot:
  • 60 years of age or older
  • absence from the community during the time the polls are open on election day
  • physically unable to attend the polls without assistance
  • cannot attend the polls because of the tenets of your religion
  • appointed as an election precinct inspector in a precinct other than the precinct where you reside
  • confined to jail awaiting arraignment or trial (Those legally convicted and sentence for a crime are not allowed to vote while confined in jail or prison.)
